The Acuity system continues the Varian tradition of innovation by combining advanced 2D and 3D imaging techniques and software capabilities to support basic simulation and complex treatment plan verification in one fully integrated system.
The Acuity planning, simulation and verification system is optimized for intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). Acuity enables clinicians to effectively prepare the patient treatment plan and helps improve treatment efficiency.
Brachytherapy patients can be planned and treated on Acuity to enable the whole process in one room.
Designed to work alongside CT simulators, Acuity is the most popular verification and simulation system on the market and is providing over approximately 300 customers with the advanced features they need to perform simulation, 2D planning and verification.
