The Trilogy stereotactic system allows you to choose to treat using frame-based SRS and IMRS or frameless SRS, SRT, IMRS and IMRT. Any area of the body can be treated using a stereotactic approach. The high dose rates available on Trilogy mean that treatment times can be 75 percent faster than comparable systems. Faster treatment times help increase throughput and revenue.

At 1000 monitor units (MU) per minute, the Trilogy system delivers a stereotactic dose rate that is 20 percent higher than any comparable system, and twice as high as most linacs. A higher dose rate translates into shorter sessions, combining patient convenience and comfort with higher throughput.

Stereotactic components

The Trilogy system is compatible with stereotactic components from Varian and other vendors.
Varian stereotactic components include:
- Conical collimators
- Stereotactic head ring, CT localizer and couch mount
- Frameless stereotactic immobilization for intracranial treatments, including CT localizer and couch mount
- Stereotactic treatment planning capability with 120 leaf MLC and conical collimator
